Why Muslim Hakawati?

The name Hakawati comes from a fusion of two Arabic words:

  • Hekaye (الحكاية) – meaning “the story”
  • Haki (حكي) – meaning “to talk”

And the one who tells the tales is called a Hakawati.

This is what we are—storytellers, seekers of knowledge, and narrators of our journey in Islam.

We are a revert Muslim couple on a mission. We’re learning while helping others learn. And in this journey, we realized something profound: We don’t just want to learn alone. We want you to be part of this journey.

Islam is more than just knowledge—it is action, transformation, and connection. And that’s why Muslim Hakawati exists.
